Lastminute.com reviewer Dawne says, "Weather was consistently good, clear skies and sunshine. We ate mainly in local restaurants and food was good, well prepared and served with a smile. Price was reasonable. We took 3 arranged trips, Teide and Masca; monkey park and whale and dolphins with Freebird. All made for a great experience. We also used public transport which was easy and cheap. De-stressing tips: Just ‘being'. Sat by the pool. Walked. Watched granddaughter enjoying herself. Ate too much. Laughed a lot. Kid's experience: Pool for 11 years old definitely, 40 years old liked the option of being busy or doing nothing. I liked: All of it. As granddaughter said there were no best bits it was all best apart from having to come home." Read Full Review

Lastminute.com reviewer Colette adds, "Food experience: The pizzas were very tasty with many different toppings to sample. Had some nice steaks with salad and beautiful sweet tomatoes. Lots of seafood to try too. All very reasonably priced. Sightseeing places: Syracuse and Ortigia were beautiful and interesting. Went for a boat trip which was lovely and refreshing. Visited Noto, beautiful buildings with the Cathedral being the centrepiece, good restaurants with good food. Ragusa and the Marina di Ragusa are well worth a visit. Would have liked to have visited more places but had to have beach time as well. Romantic experience: Just having time together away from the hustle and bustle of everyday work. Kid's experience: My kids are all grown up so we all enjoyed doing all the activities together. My 17month old granddaughter absolutely loved the beach and time spent in the warm sea. I liked: The warm days, friendliness of the Sicilian people and the beauty of the Island." Read Full Review

Lastminute.com reviewer adds, "We took our 7-year-old great-grandson, he really enjoyed the maritime museum where he could play in a boat plus a lot more. The weather was quite cold and windy but dry. There are a good shopping centre and indoor market. Plenty of supermarkets around, One opposite the museum. We found a lovely park with a playground if you travel out to Seaton Carew for a beach." Read Full Review

Lastminute.com reviewer Clive shares, "The weather for the upcoming five days was supposed to be good according to the weather apps on the day we left (temperatures in the high twenties and sunshine). It turned out to be very wet and relatively low temperatures 21/22 degrees. However we had great time using our Big Bus and New York passes which were extremely useful as well as being good value. We really enjoyed the Ground Zero and Liberty Island visits but were not too impressed with Ellis Island or Madame Tussauds. Also visited Times Square, Grand Central and a number of other attractions. Sightseeing places: Ground Zero Museum etc - Excellent, World Trade Centre, Liberty and Ellis Islands - Excellent, Grand Central Station, Central Park, Madame Tussauds, Empire State. Romantic experience: It was quite an emotional trip (rather than romantic) as we last went to New York in 2007 but took our 18 year old grandson with us for his first ever visit. Friend's experience: Our grandson was totally enthralled by his visit to Ground Zero and related locations and so were we as we had not seen that on our 2007 trip." Read Full Review
